Return Authorization Guide

Some items may need to be return-eligible through our Returns Portal. If you receive a message in the portal that your item is not eligible for a return with us, a return authorization is required for a return to be processed for said product.

Returned Item & Merchandise Requirements

The following includes everything that must be included with all returned orders, items, and merchandise:

• Original packaging.

• Original and intact UPC barcode.
  • Removal of the UPC voids any possibility of the return request being honored.

• Original packing slip.

Return Restrictions

Defective Merchandise (Must have return authorization): If you receive a defective item within 30 days of shipping the merchandise from the warehouse, Barry's Power Equipment will exchange a faulty item for a replacement item. Barry's Power Equipment will reimburse you for the original ground shipping expenses. For defects after 30 days, please refer to the manufacturer for warranty information.

Non-defective Merchandise (Must have return authorization): If you return an item that is not defective within 30 days of shipping the merchandise from the warehouse, Barry's Power Equipment will refund a non-defective item. Non-defective items may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price, and you are responsible for all original and return shipping expenses.

Gasoline-Powered Items (Must have return authorization): These items cannot be returned to Barry's Power Equipment once the gas has been added to the machine. Jet Tools, Powermatic, Edwards, and Baileigh (JPW Industries) (Must have a return authorization from the manufacturer): Due to the cost of transporting many of these items, returns will only be approved after the customer contacts the manufacturer directly and speaks with their Technical Support Department. If they can resolve the issue or send replacement parts, they will do so, and the item will not be approved for return.
