Barry’s Power Equipment stands behind the products we sell. Warranty coverage is provided by the original manufacturer unless otherwise stated. Please review the information below carefully to understand how warranty claims are handled.


Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

Most products sold by Barry’s Power Equipment are covered by the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

  • Warranty terms, coverage length, and conditions vary by manufacturer and product.

  • Warranty details can be found in the product manual or manufacturer documentation included with your purchase.

  • Barry’s Power Equipment does not offer extended warranties unless explicitly stated at the time of sale.


Warranty Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for warranty service, the following conditions must be met:

  • Proof of purchase from Barry’s Power Equipment is required.

  • Product must be used according to manufacturer guidelines.

  • Product must not show signs of misuse, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modification.

  • Original serial numbers and identification labels must be intact and legible.

Failure to meet these requirements may void warranty coverage.


Gasoline-Powered Equipment Warranty

  • Once fuel has been added to gasoline-powered equipment, the unit cannot be returned.

  • Warranty claims for gasoline-powered equipment must be handled through an authorized manufacturer service center.

  • Barry’s Power Equipment may assist in directing customers to the appropriate service provider but does not perform warranty repairs unless specifically authorized.


How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your item is experiencing a warranty-covered issue:

  1. Review the manufacturer’s warranty documentation.

  2. Contact the manufacturer directly or visit an authorized service center.

  3. If assistance is needed locating warranty information or service centers, contact Barry’s Power Equipment Customer Support.

Defective Items Upon Arrival (DOA)

  • Items reported as defective within 30 days of shipment may qualify for exchange or resolution through Barry’s Power Equipment.

  • After 30 days, all warranty claims must be processed directly through the manufacturer.

  • Return Authorization (RA) may be required.


Parts, Wear Items & Exclusions

The following are generally not covered under manufacturer warranties:

  • Normal wear items (belts, blades, filters, spark plugs, tires, batteries, etc.)

  • Cosmetic damage not affecting functionality

  • Damage caused by improper storage, fuel contamination, or environmental exposure

Coverage is subject to manufacturer determination.


Electronic & Electrical Parts – No Warranty Returns

All electronic and electrical parts are NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE, including warranty-related returns, unless otherwise required by the manufacturer.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Control modules and ECUs

  • Circuit boards

  • Electronic displays and dashboards

  • Switches, sensors, and solenoids

  • Wiring harnesses

  • Electric motors

  • Ignition components

  • Regulators and relays

Due to the sensitive nature of electronic and electrical components, once shipped, these items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund, regardless of installation status.

Limited Exception:
If an electronic or electrical part is received defective or damaged upon arrival, the issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Barry’s Power Equipment may, at its discretion, assist with manufacturer warranty evaluation or replacement after inspection and verification. Return Authorization (RA) is required.

Failures caused by improper installation, incorrect diagnosis, incompatibility, voltage issues, or customer error are not covered under warranty.


Oversized & Freight Items

  • Warranty claims for oversized or freight-shipped items must be evaluated individually.

  • In some cases, on-site service or authorized repair facilities may be required.

  • Barry’s Power Equipment reserves the right to coordinate warranty assistance but does not guarantee replacement or refund unless approved by the manufacturer.


Limitation of Liability

Barry’s Power Equipment is not responsible for:

  • Labor charges unless approved by the manufacturer

  • Loss of use, downtime, or business interruption

  • Transportation costs not covered by manufacturer warranty terms

All warranty decisions are subject to manufacturer approval.


Barry’s Power Equipment reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice.
