Returning or exchanging a product at Barry’s Power Equipment is simple. Please review the information below carefully to ensure your return is processed correctly and without delay.
To begin a return, access our Returns Portal as a guest or by signing into your Barry’s Power Equipment account.
Enter your seven-digit order number and the email address associated with the order.
If the order is eligible, select the item you wish to return.
Follow the return instructions provided.
Note: Some items are not eligible for portal-based returns and require return authorization. Additional restrictions may apply.
Certain items require Return Authorization (RA) before being returned.
If the Returns Portal indicates your item is not eligible:
Submit a request through our Contact Us form.
A Barry’s Power Equipment representative will contact you within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday).
If approved, you will receive return instructions or alternative resolution options.
Barry’s Power Equipment reserves the right to approve or deny any return request.
All approved returns must include:
Original packaging (boxes, Styrofoam, bubble wrap, plastic bags, etc.)
Original and intact UPC barcodeRemoval of the UPC voids return eligibility
Original packing slip
All accessories (cords, batteries, remotes, tools, cases, etc.)
All manufacturer documentation (manuals, warranty cards, registration materials)

Defective items reported within 30 days of shipment may be exchanged for a replacement.
Barry’s Power Equipment will reimburse original ground shipping costs.
Defects reported after 30 days must be handled through manufacturer warranty service.
Non-defective items returned within 30 days of shipment may be refunded.
Returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%.
Customer is responsible for original and return shipping costs.
Gasoline-powered items cannot be returned once fuel has been added.
If fuel has been added, the unit must be serviced through an authorized service center, typically under manufacturer warranty.

Certain oversized or heavy items require special handling or freight shipping. Due to their size and transportation requirements, these items may not be eligible for standard Returns Portal processing.
Because of increased shipping and handling costs:
Customers must first contact Barry’s Power Equipment directly for return evaluation.
If the issue can be resolved through troubleshooting, repair, or replacement parts, a return may not be approved.
If the item is deemed defective and non-repairable, Barry’s Power Equipment will coordinate the appropriate return process.

Non-defective returns for oversized or freight items are subject to the Non-Defective Merchandise Return Policy outlined above.
If your purchase included a FREE GOOD, that item must be returned with the original product to receive full refund credit.
Failure to return the free item may result in partial or denied refund.
Barry’s Power Equipment reserves the right to change, deny, or revoke any return or refund involving promotional offers, both in-store and online.
If a return is submitted as non-defective but arrives damaged or defective, a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price may apply.
Barry’s Power Equipment reserves the right to inspect all returned items prior to issuing any refund or replacement.
