Returning or exchanging a product at Barry’s Power Equipment is simple. Please review the information below carefully to ensure your return is processed correctly and without delay.

To begin a return, access our Returns Portal as a guest or by signing into your Barry’s Power Equipment account.

Return Steps:

1. Enter your seven-digit order number and the email address associated with the order.
2. If the order is eligible, select the item you wish to return.
3. Follow the return instructions provided.

Note: Some items are not eligible for portal-based returns and require Return Authorization (RA). Additional restrictions may apply.

Return Authorization (RA) Guide

Certain items require Return Authorization (RA) before being returned.

If the Returns Portal indicates your item is not eligible:

• Submit a request through our Contact Us form.
• A Barry’s Power Equipment representative will contact you within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday).
• If approved, you will receive return instructions or alternative resolution options.

Barry’s Power Equipment reserves the right to approve or deny any return request.

Returned Item & Merchandise Requirements

All approved returns must include:

• Original packaging (boxes, Styrofoam, bubble wrap, plastic bags, etc.)
• Original and intact UPC barcode (removal voids return eligibility)
• Original packing slip
• All accessories (cords, batteries, remotes, tools, cases, etc.)
• All manufacturer documentation (manuals, warranty cards, registration materials)

Barry’s Power Equipment reserves the right to inspect all returned items prior to issuing any refund or replacement.

All shipping costs, including original and return shipping, are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping charges are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Defective Merchandise

Defective items reported within 30 days of shipment may be eligible for exchange at the sole discretion of Barry’s Power Equipment.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Defects reported after 30 days must be handled through manufacturer warranty service.

Non-Defective Merchandise

(Return Authorization Required)

Non-defective items returned within 30 days of shipment may be eligible for a refund.

Returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Electrical & Electronic Parts

(No Returns or Exchanges)

Due to the sensitive nature of electrical and electronic components, all sales of electrical and electronic parts are final.

Electrical and electronic parts are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless the item is received damaged or is verified by the manufacturer to be defective under the applicable manufacturer's warranty.

Electrical and electronic parts that have been installed, connected, programmed, modified, tested, used, or show any signs of installation or use cannot be returned or exchanged.

Barry’s Power Equipment is not responsible for incorrect diagnosis, improper installation, compatibility issues, or damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or failure of another component.

Warranty claims for defective electrical or electronic parts are subject to the manufacturer's warranty policies and may require inspection and testing before any warranty replacement or credit is approved.

Barry’s Power Equipment reserves the right to inspect any returned electrical or electronic component before determining warranty eligibility.

Examples of non-returnable electrical and electronic parts include, but are not limited to:

• Ignition Coils
• Ignition Modules
• CDI Boxes
• ECU / Electronic Control Modules (ECM)
• Stators
• Voltage Regulators / Rectifiers
• Starter Motors
• Solenoids
• Relays
• Sensors
• Safety Switches
• Wiring Harnesses
• Electric PTO Clutches
• Control Boards
• Displays
• Circuit Boards
• Electric Fuel Pumps
• Alternators
• Any other electrical or electronic component.

Gasoline-Powered Equipment

(Return Authorization Required)

Gasoline-powered items cannot be returned once fuel has been added.

If fuel has been added, the unit must be serviced through an authorized service center under manufacturer warranty.

Oversized & Freight Items

(Return Authorization Required)

Certain oversized or heavy items require special handling or freight shipping and may not be eligible for standard Returns Portal processing.

Customers must contact Barry’s Power Equipment directly for return evaluation.

If the issue can be resolved through troubleshooting, repair, or replacement parts, a return may not be approved.

Non-defective oversized or freight returns are subject to restocking fees and all shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Free-Good Promotions

If your purchase included a FREE promotional item, that item must be returned with the original product to receive full refund credit.

Failure to return the promotional item may result in a partial or denied refund.

Other Promotions

Barry’s Power Equipment reserves the right to change, deny, or revoke any return or refund involving promotional offers, both in-store and online.

Misclassified Returns

If a return is submitted as non-defective but arrives damaged, incomplete, or defective, a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price may apply.
